Altea is a crossbody bag crafted by The Dust Company in the heart of Italy. Made of the finest vegetable tanned leather, it is the modern day version of the "catana", a bag designed in 1575 by a certain master craftsman called Stefano. It became a cult bag in the '70s when it reached the United States and a decade later it widespread among italian students under the name of "Tolfa bag".
