“To those who tell me that 20 days to make a purse it’s a long time, I reply that it lasts for 20 years at least” Renato Viviani
In the heart of Florence, 2 blocks away from Palazzo Vecchio, Leonardo keeps his workshop exactly as his grandfather Renato Viviani built it 64 years ago. Renato started his career as an apprentice of Guccio Gucci, and quickly became a master leather craftsman himself. Pelletteria Artigiana Viviani is the expression of Florentine and Tuscan craftsmanship, becoming reality through the processing of leather products made entirely by hand.
The laboratory adjacent to the shop, located in the heart of the historic center of Florence, offers the opportunity to observe the work of true master craftsmen, starting with the careful selection of the materials used for our creations, in particular top-quality leathers, worked in the Tuscan tanneries located in Santa Croce sull’Arno.
Pelletteria Artigiana Viviani offers a refined selection of models focusing its creative production on its line of women’s bags. A bag has always accompanied women, carrying within it the archetype of a trunk, or even of a mobile home; inside it lies the essence of the person to whom it belongs.
It is precisely to women that the Pelletteria Artigiana Viviani dedicates its collection of bags: each model has a woman’s name, each woman with her own bag, inside of which she can carry a little bit of herself.
